The ‘Ariane Condellis’ European Programme of the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) contributed to the lecture series for trainee public servants, after invitation by the National School of Public Administration and Local Government (ESDDA), which took place on Monday 15 December at the premises of the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government (EKDDA).
In particular, Professor Spyros Blavoukos delivered an in-depth analysis of the European Union budget. He traced its historical evolution from the very beginning of the European project, analysed its main components and structure and examined the challenges and opportunities associated with the forthcoming Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) 2028-2034.
The audience consisted of approximately 80 public servants and trainee public servants, recruited by the National School of Public Administration and Local Government, who will be posted to a number of critical positions in the Greek public sector.
The lecture series were conducted in Greek.
This in-depth seminar was held as part of the EPACE-EU (Enhancing Public Awareness and Civic Engagement in the European Union) project, which is co-funded by the European Union.
