Panagiotis (Panos) Politis Lamprou was born in Athens and graduated from Leonteios School of Athens. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International and European Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business and a Master’s degree in International Security (with a specialisation in European Studies and Diplomacy) from Paris School of International Affairs, Sciences Po.
His research interests revolve around the European defence integration process, the European defence industry and the EU’s global geopolitical role, including its external relations and strategic autonomy. He has gained valuable experience through traineeships in the European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS), the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Permanent Representation to the EU, Embassy in Romania, A6 and ST1 Directorates) and research assistantships in the Institute of International Economic Relations and the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence “The Multilateral Diplomacy of the EU”.
