ELIAMEP, in partnership with the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) , the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) Cyprus Center and the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs will research current migration trends, policies and priorities in the Mediterranean with an emphasis on Cyprus, Lebanon, Egypt and Greece.
The project seeks to explore and critically reflect on the relationship between the north and the south Mediterranean on migration, potential convergences, as well as divergences in the policy responses and priorities. The project, beyond mapping current issues, aims at offering policy recommendations that could contribute to our understanding of current population movement across the Mediterranean.
