The Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) is organising a seminar for officials of municipal and regional authorities on Wednesday 26 November 2025, from 15:00 to 17:00, at ELIAMEP’s premises (Vasilissis Sofias 49, Athens).
The seminar will focus on informing and providing useful guidance to local government officials from across Greece, including members of the EU’s Network of Local and Regional Councilors (BELC), regarding the EU funding instruments that can support local and regional development. In addition, the new opportunities emerging for local authorities in view of the upcoming Multiannual Financial Framework (2028–2034) will be presented. Time will also be allocated for interaction between speakers and participants.
The seminar will be conducted in Greek and in a hybrid format to allow all municipalities from all regions of Greece to participate.
