The Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) is organising on 8-9 December 2025 a symposium, supported by NATO Public Diplomacy, for young researchers working on defence, security, foreign policy, diplomacy, and related fields. The symposium aims to provide participants with the opportunity to present their research, exchange ideas with peers, and connect with the job market—at a particularly critical time for security and international relations.
At the recent NATO Summit in The Hague (25 June 2025), it was decided that defence spending will increase to 5% of GDP for all member states by 2035, further highlighting the relevance of the symposium’s themes.
