Opinion piece on the recent developments in the war in Ukraine

Dimitar Bechev, Senior Research Fellow at ELIAMEP’s South-East Europe Programme, wrote an opinion piece on Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty in his monthly column for RFE/RL’s Bulgarian service.

In his article, D. Bechev analyzed the geopolitical developments in the war in Ukraine. In particular, he focused on the Ukrainian attack on the territory of Russia and the already significant consequences of this move. Firstly, it shakes the power in Moscow and secondly, it strengthens the fighting spirit of Ukraine.
