The Europe Direct ELIAMEP centers in Attica and Piraeus, and the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence EXCELEM 2.0 at the University of Piraeus, are organizing a Hackathon focused on misinformation.
Students and graduates are welcome to participate in this event and find solutions to the issue of misinformation by approaching it through four different thematic dimensions:
- Fact-checking
- Disinformation Networks
- Deepfakes and AI
- Political Impact of Disinformation
The event will take place on Monday, May 25, from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM, at the University of Piraeus.

Participants are advised to bring their own laptop and charger to facilitate the process.
Certificates of attendance will be issued to participants, and prizes will be awarded to the winners.
