On Thursday, 15 January 2026, the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP), in collaboration with the Trans European Policy Studies Association (TEPSA), co-organized a panel discussion entitled “Greece-U.S. Relations and the Future of Transatlantic Cooperation”, held at The Demos Center of The American College of Greece.
The event featured the presentation of the volume “The United States and the Future of Europe: Views from the Capitals”, with a particular focus on the Greek chapter “From Myth to Reality: The Odyssey of U.S.-Greek Relations Finding Safe Harbour”. Bringing together academics and policy experts, the discussion examined how the book’s core arguments on transatlantic relations, U.S. foreign policy, and Greece’s strategic role resonate within the current and evolving geopolitical landscape. The exchange offered an updated assessment of Greece-U.S. relations, the broader transatlantic partnership, and their implications for European security, diplomacy, and regional stability.
