On 18 September, the transnational event of the Reinventing Engagement through Affirmative Citizen Consultations (REACH) project was held in Belgrade, organised by the Centre for European Policies (CEP).

The meeting brought together project partners, citizen delegates, and policy stakeholders from across Europe to exchange experiences from their respective consultation processes and to discuss the proposed policy solutions arising from them. Citizens from the Greek local consultations organised by ELIAMEP’s South-East Europe Programme took part to share insights and learn from the perspectives of fellow Europeans.

Through this initiative, REACH aims to strengthen citizen engagement in European policymaking by organising structured dialogues and creating spaces where citizens can deliberate on key issues and contribute their views. Ensuring that their voices are truthfully reflected in the decisions that shape their future is a key concern.
