Taygeti Michalakea Presents Her Book at Fundação Getulio Vargas, Brazil

In late May 2026, Taygeti Michalakea, Scientific Coordinator of the Embrace project, presented her book, When Corporate Accountability Meets Transitional Justice: International Law and National Practice (CUP, 2025), at the School of International Relations of Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo, Brazil.
The book examines corporate responsibility for involvement in armed conflicts and collaboration with authoritarian regimes, while exploring the role that transitional justice mechanisms can play in ensuring accountability for such practices. The presentation was followed by an engaging discussion with the audience, featuring questions and reflections on the issues addressed in the book.
