Participation of Marina Nikolova in Carnegie Europe’s “Taking the Pulse” publication

Marking the 40th anniversary of the Schengen Agreement on 14 June, the Carnegie Europe weekly publication “Taking the Pulse” asks the question: “Is Schengen still fit for purpose?”. Rym Momtaz, Editor-in-Chief of Carnegie Europe’s Strategic Europe blog, invited selected experts in international relations and migration, including Marina Nikolova, Research Associate at ELIAMEP, to comment in 200 words on whether the Schengen area can continue to serve as a model of European unity amidst global turmoil and populist pressure.
