During the panel-discussion on “The Trump Effect”. Professor Gavouneli detailed the major changes introduced by the new Trump administration in the US and their impact on geopolitics—and hence on the shipping sector. How might tariffs affect trade, and what might the impact be over the next four years? Could these tariffs be positive for ocean shipping?
