Dr. Elena Lazarou participated in the closed roundtable discussion on the Digital Networks Act (DNA) organised by Amazon Web Services (AWS), on 3 June 2026 in Athens. The discussion focused on the DNA and its role in modernising Europe’s connectivity infrastructure, in light of the European Commission’s proposed regulation of January 2025. The session was moderated by Angeliki Dedopoulou, Public Affairs Director at V+O Group, while Federico Boccardi, Head of Connectivity Policy Europe at AWS, delivered the keynote address.
The roundtable brought together representatives from government, regulatory authorities, industry, and the wider digital policy community. Dr. Lazarou was invited to share her insights on the potential impact of the DNA on the dual-use, space, and defence industries.
