Dr Triantafyllos Karatrantos explains that supply chains and states’ dependence on them, are among the central issues of our era, given their close links to national resilience. In a world in which crises are becoming more frequent and complex, states must place particular emphasis on managing these interconnections. This means strengthening infrastructure, and keeping crisis management mechanisms and procedures up-to-date and ensuring they can respond effectively to potential disruptions.
