On September 9th, the two-years EMBRACE – Empowering Business Communities to Prevent Labour Trafficking project officially launched. ΕLIAMEP is leading the project in collaboration with  partners from six European countries -Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, and Poland -and including expertise from Finland and the Netherlands. Consortium partners came together for a dynamic kickoff meeting in Athens, at ELIAMEP premises.

With a strong and committed team, EMBRACE aims to prevent labour trafficking and exploitation by strengthening systemic responses and preventive measures through a Business and Human Rights perspective, with a focus on high-risk sectors.

The meeting featured engaging discussions and presentations, providing an opportunity to: gain insights into the project’s Work Packages and Tasks, reflect on achieving EMBRACE strategic objectives and  plan and set the stage for an exciting two-year journey ahead.
