Gabriel Haritos writes about Kibbutz Be’eri, just a stone’s throw from the Gaza Strip, which was wiped out in the Hamas massacres of 7 October. He was hosted there in the summer of 2017 and, as he explains, it was a community that was always ideologically ready to accept the concept of harmonious coexistence. However, it has now paid the ultimate price.
