Elections in Albania and the challenges of the next day

Writing in Aygi about the Albanian elections and the report co-authored by Ioannis Armakolas and Bledar Feta “Can Albania Exorcise the Ghost of Elections Past?”, Kaki Bali notes that “According to the researchers, the successful completion of the electoral process will offer an opportunity to move beyond the usual zero-sum-game of Albanian political parties. If there is cross-party acceptance of the election results, it will increase political stability and improve Albania’s democratic credentials”.
