Maria Gavouneli examines in the ELIAMEP Special Supplement for 2026, published by the newspaper Ta Nea, why a new balance in the international arena is not expected to be reached within the coming year, yet this does not mean that international organizations have been definitively sidelined. New formations are emerging based on shared needs, often without geographic limits, while older structures continue to hold symbolic significance, emphasizing that the transformation of the global system requires patience, persistence, resilience, and, above all, composure.
