Europe’s steam engine back on track – By D. Katsikas

“Last week’s joint Merkel – Macron announcement of a €500 billion recovery fund is the culmination of a series of recent joint initiatives that seem to be reviving the central axis of co-operation in the European Union,” wrote Dimitris Katsikas in his article for the newspaper Fileleftheros. Katsikas pointed out how “these initiatives highlight the necessity of a revived Franco-German axis.”
