Thanos Veremis, Vice President of ELIAMEP, was awarded the Panayiotis Foteas Award for his book “1940 – 1941, the Greek war”. This award is given to books that promote free thought. Panayiotis Foteas was the first elected prefect of Messinia and for a number of years Secretary General at the Ministry of Culture.
