For two decades, ELIAMEP’s European Seminars have provided a unique forum for open, high-level dialogue on the future of Europe. This year, already in their 19th edition, the European Seminars have become an institution in their own right, with many participants returning year after year. Without exaggeration, the Seminars are treated as the event of the year.
The Seminars bring together leading politicians, policymakers, academics, think tankers and journalists from countries across Europe, people with knowledge, experience, independent minds and a shared belief in the European project. During two full days, they engage in lively and in-depth discussions on the key challenges facing Europe. Held under Chatham House rules in different locations in Greece, the European Seminars have been the brainchild of Loukas Tsoukalis who remains until today the chef d’orchestre.
Europe’s Dependencies in Times of Global Disruption was the theme of this year’s Seminar in which a small number of leading personalities from North America also took part.
