“We are very strongly connected to the Asia Minor shores” – An interview with K. Amygdalou

“We are still very strongly connected to the Asia Minor shores. We have found remnants from all periods of history connected with the Greek element and there are many important archaeological sites in the area. Archaeological sites and byzantine monuments are part of what we study in the wider Izmir area, but we mostly find architectural remnants from the past two centuries, from 1800 onward,” said Kalliopi Amydgalou in her interview with Real FM.
