With a set of procedural steps and confidence-building measures between the two Communities (Greek Cypriots, Turkish Cypriots), as well as the convening of a new five-party conference at the end of July, the work of the five-party conference (Republic of Cyprus, Turkish Cypriot community, Greece, Turkey, United Kingdom) was completed yesterday in Geneva. Given the difficulties, this is a positive development, according to Panayiotis Ioakimidis.
