Greek & European Economy Observatory

Following Greece’s exit from the adjustment programmes and the consolidation of economic recovery in Greece and the EU, ELIAMEP focuses on the dynamics of the Greek and European economy and the identification and analysis of the most important challenges facing them in securing strong and sustainable economic growth.

The Greek and European Economy Observatory monitors trends, analyses statistics, showcases research, assesses policy dilemmas, and promotes the general public’s understanding of the pressing economic issues of the day for Europe and Greece. Τhe Observatory is currently supported by two endowment grants, from the A.G. Leventis Foundation and the Stavros Costopoulos Foundation respectively.
Τhe Greek and European Economy Observatory continues the work of the Crisis Observatory, an ELIAMEP initiative, created in 2013 with the support of the “Stavros Niarchos Foundation”. The complete material of the Crisis Observatory (2013-19) is maintained in its previous website (crisisobs.gr/en/), as an open access archive for informative and research purposes.
