Our annual European Seminars have reached adulthood. We have just had the 18th European Seminar that took place in Hydra (26-29 September) under the leadership of ELIAMEP’s President, Loukas Tsoukalis, with a most appropriate theme for our times “Can the EU Become a Political Adult?”
Influential and extremely knowledgeable people from different countries and backgrounds who spent two and a half days engaged in intensive discussions on a wide range of topics, including the new political landscape in Europe, relations with the US and China, the war in Ukraine, European defence, protectionism, growth and competitiveness. A very successful event even though discussions were not always upbeat.
