Savvas Papadopoulos
Junior Research Fellow, EU Institutions and PoliciesSavvas Papadopoulos is a Junior Research Fellow on European Institutions and Civic Participation, contributing to research and advocating civic engagement activities, under the DemoAct project.
He is currently a PhD candidate at the Athens University of Economics and Business, where his research focuses on lobbying and negotiations in the European Union. He also holds an MSc in International Negotiations from the same university, during which he was awarded a scholarship by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, and a BSc in International, European, and Regional Studies, with a specialization in International Law and International Relations, from Panteion University.
He has extensive experience in the humanitarian sector and currently serves as Programme and Development Manager at METAdrasi – Action for Migration and Development. He is fluent in English, Russian, Georgian, and German.
He has also served as Project Manager for the programme “EUact2 – Towards a Democratic and Inclusive Europe: EP Elections and Active Citizens’ Participation and Contribution.”
