
Lefteris – Foivos Vasilopoulos
Research Assistant, European Institutions and PoliciesLefteris – Foivos Vasilopoulos is a Research and Events Assistant at the European Institutions and Policies Program.
He is a final-year student in the Department of International and European Studies at the University of Piraeus. He holds a one-year French-language diploma titled “International Comparative Studies” from Sciences Po Toulouse, which he pursued through the Erasmus+ program.
As an Erasmus student, he was a Candidate MEP in France during the June 2024 European elections, running with the pan-European party Volt. This made him the first Erasmus student to run as a candidate in the European Elections in another country. Over the past year, he has participated in discussions and debates in French, English, and Greek, focusing on the European elections and the challenges young people face in Europe.
His first book will soon be published by Papazisis Publications, in which he will describe his experience in France. The title of the book is “Erasmus Citizen.”
