Katerina Eirini Lambrinou
Institutional Capacity building lead of the DemoAct projectKaterina Eirini Lambrinou is a senior civil servant at the Hellenic Parliament with 25 years of experience across Greek and European politics. She currently serves as Special Advisor on international public affairs and strategic planning to former Prime Minister George A. Papandreou, while actively contributing to global networks including the Network of Institutions and Leaders for Future Generations, Teach the Future, and the School of International Futures Pioneers. A Salzburg Global Education Fellow since 2025, she has also obtained a certified mastery from the European Commission’s Competence Centre on Deliberative and Participatory Democracy.
Her experience includes managing the international Symi Symposium (2000–2014) and the Young Leaders Project (2014–2022), two initiatives of the Andreas G. Papandreou Foundation. She has studied Political Science, Communication & Media, and International NGO Management, complemented by executive programs at Harvard Kennedy School and EDHEC Business School. Her work bridges futures literacy, participatory democracy, intergenerational fairness and long-term governance across sectors, institutions and generations.
