
Ioanna Pervou
Research Fellow, Doctor Juris in Public International LawDr. Ioanna Pervou is currently a lecturer at Democritus University of Thrace. She is also nominated by the Hellenic Branch of the International Law Association as a representative to the ILA Committee on Global Health Law and appointed as a Visiting Fellow at LSE Health with a specialization in Health Law (2023-2025).
She is a lawyer. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She holds an LLM in Public International Law from the University of Cambridge, an LLM in Constitutional Law from Democritus University of Thrace, and an MBA with a specialty in the administration of public hospitals.
Her doctoral thesis, entitled “The right not to be subjected to enforced disappearance in public international law” has received a full scholarship by the Academy of Athens. She has also received scholarships from several foundations such as the Onassis Foundation and the Cambridge European Trust Fund.
