On 20 September 2013 Professor George Pagoulatos represented ELIAMEP at the European Commission Meeting with European Think Tanks following President Barroso’s “State of the Union” speech. The Meeting was chaired by the Head of Cabinet of the European Commission President and co-chaired by the Director General of the Bureau of European Policy Advisers (BEPA).
Also, on 25-26 September Professor George Pagoulatos participated in one more Meeting of the Reflection Group of the “New Pact for Europe” project in Berlin. The project, implemented by a consortium of European foundations led by the European Policy Centre (EPC), the King Baudouin Foundation and the Bertelsmann Stiftung, is in the final preparatory stages before the draft report is officially presented in a number of expert panels and citizens meetings to be held in various EU cities within the next few months.
