The Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) co-organized with the School of Architecture of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) the half-day symposium ‘Refugee housing and the spatial footprint of the 1923 Population Exchange in Greece and Turkey’. The event was held at the postgraduate studies building of AUTh, on Friday 18 October 2024, 09.30 – 14.00.

At the event, the research project HOMEACROSS was presented and, more specifically, the use of new digital tools in the field of cultural studies and the management of cultural heritage as well as an overview of the project’s research results for the region of Ionia in Turkey. Other research projects dealing with refugee housing in Thessaloniki were also presented.
