Professor Maria Gavouneli, ELIAMEP Director General, participated in a high-level conference entitled “The Three Seas Initiative: The Economic Dimension of Intra-EU Cooperation” held in Warsaw on April 29. Professor Gavouneli spoke on the first panel on: “Review of the First Decade of the Three Seas Initiative – Impact on Connectivity” Other esteemed speakers who participated in the conference were: Zoran Dimitrovski, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Northern Macedonia H.E. Gediminas Varvuolis, Ambassador at Large, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, Swasti Rao, Professor and Associate Dean, Global Initiatives, O.P. Jindal Global University, India, Francesco Talo, Senior Advisor to the Defense Minister and former Diplomatic Advisor to the Prime Minister o Italy and Ambassador Mehmet Fatih Ceylan, former Turkish Permanent Representative to NATO.
