On June 23 2026 Washington DC Fellow Dimitris Tsarouhas delivered a lecture to students and staff at the American Hellenic Institute (AHI) in Washington DC. AHI is Washington’s premier public policy center and think tank focusing on Greece, Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean region. Equally importantly, AHI ensures that Greek American students visit Greece every year and immerse themselves in knowledge about the country and the region.
In his lecture, Professor Tsarouhas emphasized the need to assess Greek foreign policy based on contemporary developments, opportunities and constraints. He also provided unique insights as to the Greek-Turkish relationship due to his long academic tenure in Ankara, including a thorough analysis of the current state of play and future prospects.
