Meeting of the SEE-ERA project consortium, Bucharest 27-28 April 2026

On April 27–28, 2026, the ELIAMEP research team (Kyriaki Karidou, Christina Maraboutaki, and Diana Manesi) participated in the 3rd in-person meeting of the SEE-ERA project consortium, held in Bucharest, Romania, and hosted at the premises of partner UEFISCDI.

SEE-ERA brings together organizations from Southeast and Northern Europe, creating a strong framework for knowledge exchange and collaboration aimed at promoting structural changes toward more inclusive research organizations. During the meeting, partners were updated on the project’s progress, exchanged experiences and good practices related to promoting gender equality within their organizations, and identified key priorities for the upcoming period.

Within the framework of SEE-ERA, ELIAMEP leads Work Package 3, actively contributing to the establishment of a Community of Action in Southeast Europe, as well as to the design and implementation of training activities on specific topics related to Gender Equality Action Plans. These initiatives aim to empower research and innovation organizations to effectively implement policies and practices that foster equality and inclusion.

At the same time, through its participation in the project, ELIAMEP updated its Gender Equality Action Plan, drawing on the expertise and experience of its consortium partners.
