On January 30, Prof. Panayotis Tsakonas, Senior Research Fellow, Head, Foreign Policy & Security Programme, and Dr. Constantine Capsaskis, Research Fellow, Mediterranean Programme, engaged in a thought‑provoking discussion with a delegation from the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul (HUFS), comprised of Professors Oh Jong-Jin, Lee Nan-ah, and Dr Lee Joosong. The discussion covered both national and regional developments. During the exchange, particular emphasis was placed on the importance of soft power and cultural diplomacy—key elements of the foreign policy strategies of both Greece and the Republic of Korea. The conversation also explored bilateral relations between the two countries and the potential for further deepening their cooperation. Τhe visit of the HUFS delegation underscores ELIAMEP’s role as an international hub for discussion and analysis in foreign policy and international relations.
