Greek–Turkish Relations in Historical Perspective

On Thursday, 22 January 2026, ELIAMEP’s Turkey Programme hosted a visit by a student group from Luther College from Iowa, United States, under the supervision of Dr. Orcun Selçuk and Μarc Guerci who are participating in the programme “National Identity and Memory in Turkey and Greece.” The students attended a lecture entitled “Greek–Turkish Relations in Historical Perspective,” followed by an engaging and substantive discussion. The session also offered valuable insight into ELIAMEP’s research and activities, presented by the Foundation’s Senior Policy Advisor, Mr. Alkis Courcoulas.
