Professor Panayotis Tsakonas at the Athens Security Forum 2025

On November 12, Professor Panayotis Tsakonas, Head of the Security and Foreign Policy Programme at ELIAMEP, participated in the Athens Security Forum, organized by the Institute of International Relations (IDIS) at the Hellenic Armed Forces Officers’ Club. Professor Tsakonas spoke in the panel “Exploring a New Paradigm in Foreign Policy” alongside Yannis Valinakis, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Athanassios Platias, Professor Emeritus at the University of Piraeus and President of the Council of Foreign Affairs. The discussion was chaired by Dimitri Triantafyllou, Professor of International Politics at Panteion University.
