Professor Maria Gavouneli, Director General of ELIAMEP, participated in the 20th anniversary edition of the GLOBSEC Forum, held on 12–14 June 2025 in the historic city of Prague, Czechia. Held under the auspices of President Petr Pavel and the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this year’s gathering brought together global leaders and innovators to address key global challenges and shape actionable solutions for the future. during the Forum, Professor Gavouneli joined the panel “From Demographic Challenge to Strategic Response”. She highlighted how demographic trends are shaping Europe’s democracy, economy, and strategic cohesion.
