Southeast European and Black Sea Studies, a Routledge journal, invites expressions of interest from self-motivated and detail-oriented applicants to coordinate its book reviews portfolio. The intern should have solid experience communicating professionally in English and be prepared to coordinate the book review publication process: from requesting review copies from publishers to receipt and posting of books to authors; researching, inviting and communicating with book review authors; and maintaining a database of all books and reviews. Ideally, she or he would have a working knowledge/experience of Southeast Europe and/or the Black Sea region regarding topics such as politics, society and the economy. The position is great for those keen to learn more about academic publishing and happy to work from home with a virtual team from at the Southeast Europe Programme of the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP). We expect the tasks to require 5-15 hours of work weekly. Unfortunately are not able to provide any financial support.

If you would like to apply, please contact Julianne Funk at [email protected] with your CV and a letter of interest by 5 June 2020.
