Antonis Kamaras has been appointed as Greece’s representative to the World Bank, by decision of the Deputy Minister for the National Economy and Finance, Mr Nikos Papathanasis.

Antonis Kamaras, a close associate of ELIAMEP and a researcher there, has extensive experience in technology transfer, innovation, and the interrelations between business and research ecosystems. He also has a strong academic background, with studies at Connecticut College and the London School of Economics. He made a significant contribution to the organization of the conference “50 Years of Democracy and the Armed Forces: What Comes Next?”, as well as to the drafting of Policy Papers on Defence and reforms in the Armed Forces, thereby strengthening ELIAMEP’s contribution to public policy.
