Loukas Tsoukalis talks about the Trump phenomenon and looks at the tectonic shift his re-election would set in motion. He explains why Europe will have to support NATO on an equal footing with the US and what this change would mean for the Middle East. He argues that the pressure the US has exerted on Israel to date is disproportionate with the extreme nature of the policy being pursued by the Netanyahu administration. In his opinion, Greece should consider alternative scenarios in the light of Trump’s possible re-election to the White House.
