Held from June 22 to June 24, 2026, in Warsaw, Poland, Leaders Forum: Better Europe 2026, served as a premier summit for strategic dialogue amid accelerating geopolitical shifts and acted as a prelude to the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk. Οrganized by the Centre for International Relations Foundation and THINKTANK Leaders Hub, the 3-day 2026 forum convened prominent participants from across all EU member states, Poland, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and EEA countries, including heads of leading think tanks, former and current government representatives, diplomats, academics and business leaders. The leading theme of the 2026 edition was: “Europe under Pressure of Enlargement”, creating a unique platform for cross-sector exchange on the geopolitical, economic and institutional implications of EU enlargement, Europe’s strategic resilience, relations with neighboring regions, and the reconstruction of Ukraine.

Leaders Forum 2026 featured prominent keynote addresses from Prof. Jerzy Buzek, former President of the European Parliament, and Clément Beaune, France’s High Commissioner for Strategy and Planning. among other distinguished speakers. Thematic sessions centered on EU enlargement, economic competitiveness, and European security. Dr. Elena Lazarou, Director General of ELIAMEP, shared the stage withBarbara Nowacka, Polish Minister of Education to explore strategic enhancements for the European social model. In a shifting landscape defined by surging defense budgets, their vital debate underscored the critical urgency of scaling investments in education, healthcare, housing, and youth skills. Ultimately, the speakers delivered a compelling case for building robust societal resilience and advancing AI preparedness to safeguard Europe’s future stability.
