Europe Direct ELIAMEP Attica has officially renewed its mandate for the 2026–2030 period, continuing its work informing citizens and promoting European public dialogue across the Attica region.

The renewal was announced by the European Commission Representation in Greece and was marked by our participation in the Annual General Meeting of the Europe Direct network in Brussels (12–13 March 2026). The Network’s new generation for 2026–2030, which comprises 400 centres across the EU, including 14 in Greece, was officially launched at the meeting.

Europe Direct centres are set to play an enhanced role in the new period as local hubs for democratic dialogue in the framework of the European Commission’s European Democracy Shield. Europe Direct ELIAMEP Attica will continue to organise information events, public discussions, educational programmes and participatory activities with the aim of building bridges between institutions and citizens through credible and inclusive European dialogue.
