Closed discussion with Ambassador Alexandre Stutzmann

ELIAMEP hosted a closed-door roundtable with Amb. Alexandre Stutzmann, European Union Representative to the West Bank & Gaza Strip, UNRWA, in Jerusalem to discuss current developments in Gaza and the West Bank, the ceasefire framework branded as the “Trump plan,” and the prospects for a two-state solution. The discussion addressed humanitarian realities, including the fate of hostages and escalating violence in the West Bank, governance needs for Gaza’s “day after,” EU support for Palestinian institutional reforms, and the challenge of aligning EU positions across Member States. Participants also examined Israeli domestic dynamics and their implications for any credible political horizon.
