John T Psaropoulos
Senior Policy Advisor; Foreign Correspondent, Al Jazeera English; Hellenica creatorJohn T Psaropoulos is an Athens-based Foreign Correspondent, accredited for Al Jazeera English, providing coverage and analysis of Greek and European affairs, including the war in Ukraine. He is the author of Hellenica on Substack. He was Editor-in-Chief of the English-language newspaper Athens News under the Lambrakis Press (1999-2009).
He worked as Associate Producer and Tapes Producer at CNN International broadcast centre in Atlanta, Georgia (1994-1999). He holds BA and MA degrees in Ancient Greek from King’s College, London.
He is married to the award-winning poet A.E. Stallings, with whom he has two children.
