Angelos Angelou
Non-Resident Research FellowAngelos Angelou is Assistant Professor of European Political and Economic Governance in the Department of International and European Studies at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. He is also a visiting fellow at the European Institute of the London School of Economics (LSE), where he obtained his PhD. Prior to joining Panteion University, he taught at universities in Greece and abroad, and served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Global Policy Institute at Queen Mary University of London. He has also worked as an external consultant with the European Commission.
His research focuses on EU crisis management, as well as crisis governance and multilateral cooperation. His work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Common Market Studies, Public Administration, and Comparative European Politics. Outside academia, he has worked at the European External Action Service in the field of multilateral diplomacy.
