ParticipatEU is set to empower European citizens to actively engage and participate in the 2024 European Parliament Elections. The project aims to heighten and increase citizens’ awareness of issues related to the EU and provide education on the relative affairs of the Union while strengthening European civic identity. The overarching objective of the programme is to foster a closer relationship between European citizens and the EU. ParticipatEU focuses on the general public, with particular emphasis on those lacking information about the EU and its functions, including first-time voters.

The project consists of three pillars:

  • communication and dissemination activities,
  • events and informative sessions,
  • capacity building for Youth Civil Society Organizations.

The project is co-funded by the EU.
