Launch of BRiDGE Survey – Perspectives of Researchers in Danger in Europe

The “BRiDGE Survey – Perspectives of Researchers in Danger in Europe” aims to reach the answers of researchers in danger, such as academics with an asylum status or other risk living in Europe, especially in European Union Member States. The aim of the questionnaire is to survey the possibilities of:

– how to successfully provide and develop strategies to access the academic and non academic labour market for refugees and other at risk researchers
– to provide a better understanding of existing mechanisms and practices, and
– how they could be further improved.

The survey is developed by Bielefeld University, Germany, the National Centre for Social Research (EKKE), Greece, and the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP), Greece, in the framework of the EU funded project “BRiDGE: Bridge for Researchers in Danger Going to Europe”. BRiDGE is a two-year project (2018-2020) funded under the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020, coordinated by Bielefeld University (Germany) and partners from Greece, Switzerland, Turkey and Bulgaria – members of the European Commission network for career development and mobility of researchers EURAXESS.

This survey is anonymous. No personal data will be stored or processed. The questionnaire takes 15-20 minutes to be completed.
