Ana Krstinovska, a Researcher on ELIAMEP’s South-East Europe Programme, gave an interview to Euronews Albania in the context of the Civil Society and Think Tank Forum (Berlin Process Summit) which ELIAMEP co-organized this year.

Krstinovska presented the policy recommendations of the Programme’s Thematic Working Group on the Politics of Enlargement. In her presentation, she underlined the importance of a more incentivized, credible and accelerated EU accession process with a clear time-frame and firm focus on the rule of law. She also suggested that the power of veto should be restricted in the case of bilateral disputes. This, she argued, was the way forward for the Western Balkans on the road to EU membership.
