Gabriel Haritos participates in the panel of the BLED Strategic Forum 2023, analysing the framework of relations between the EU and the countries of North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean with emphasis on the model of trilateral regional cooperation, highlighting the need for a common strategy between the member countries of the European South and their partners in the European North.
The panel on “The Southern Mediterranean and the EU: So Close and Yet So Far” also includes Wadie Abunassar, Director and founder, International Centre for Consultations (Israel), Tiago Antunes, Secretary of State for European Affairs of the Portuguese Republic and Senén Florensa Palau, Executive President, European Institute of the Mediterranean (Spain). The debate will be moderated by Burak Ünveren, Journalist at Deutsche Welle and Member, Global Diplomacy Lab.
